Nicky Warren launched her online store www.ecomadeeasy.co.uk in spring 2008. Having struggled to find natural and organic alternatives to everyday toiletries and cosmetics, Nicky decided to set up her own internet shop selling just that. The attractive, user friendly website offers a wide range of natural and organic health and beauty products suitable for the whole family and are all produced by reputable and quality suppliers such as Weleda, Green People, Lavera, Essential Care, Balm Balm, Trevarno and Pur Skin Care.

Nicky explained the meaning behind the name of her company: “we called it ‘Eco Made Easy’ because we wanted to show that we are an eco-friendly business, this is something I am very passionate about and ‘MADE EASY’ because we have done all the hard work by carefully researching all the products we sell to ensure they are produced in an ethical, environmentally responsible way, so our customers can be safe in that knowledge that we are selling genuine, natural, eco-friendly products”.

The product range includes natural and organic skin care for men and natural and organic skin care women, natural cosmetics, men’s shaving products, organic and natural shampoos and conditioners, natural deodorants, naturally pure moisturisers for mum’s to be, herbal toothpastes and mouthwash, gentle organic baby bath and nappy cream and luxurious body treats from the organic spa collection. There is also a good selection of natural health remedies such as homeopathic teething drops, arnica lotion for bruising, massage balms for muscle aches, medicinal gargle for sore throats and much more.

ECO MADE EASY has a strict selection criteria in terms of products and suppliers and where the goods are sold. They only sell products that have been manufactured in the UK/Europe and none of the products sold by ECO MADE EASY have been air freighted from the USA or the Far East. All products must contain natural and/or organic ingredients and be free from synthetic additives, petrochemicals and artificial fragrances. Customers can rest assured that none of the products have been tested on animals and some of the products are suitable for those who follow a vegan lifestyle.

Nicky Warren went on to say, “We all have a responsibility to reduce our Carbon Footprint and that is why we made the decision not to import goods from outside Europe and not to sell our goods outside the UK. We want everyone to consider the impact of transporting goods across the world and the importance of thinking locally”.

Nicky is married to husband Mike and they have a two year old daughter Safia. They are passionate about protecting and preserving the environment and at the same time want to share their philosophy on using only natural products. The message is simple: “ if you take care about what you put into your body in terms of healthy, nutritious organic foods, then why not apply the same principles to what you put onto your skin.”
